Privacy Statement – Alannah Hopkin

General Statement
I respect your right to privacy, and I don’t collect any personal information about you on this website or share any personal information with any third party. Any personal information which you volunteer to me will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulations 2018. This page was updated on June 27th 2018 and may be updated if needed in future so do please check back if you have any concerns.

Collection and Use of Personal Information
I do not collect any personal data about you on this website. If you choose to send me personal information by email I will use that information in line with the purpose for which you provided it and to respond to you if needed. I do not collect personal information for commercial purposes.

Usage Data
I do use a monitoring application to collate and analyse certain statistical information about the use of my website. I use this information to understand your needs and provide you with relevant and interesting website content. When you visit my website the following information is retained about your visit:

• IP (Internet Protocol) address.
• The number of times per visit a request for data was received from each IP Address.
• The entry page to my website.
• The length of time spent on my website.
• The exit page from my website.
• The IP address of a link if used to access my website.
• The identity of any search engine used to access my website.
• A list of all the pages visited while in my website.
• The name of the browser used, e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer.
• the IP address of the your web server
• the top-level domain name used (for example .ie, .com, .org, .net)
• the previous website address from which you reached my website, including any search terms used
• Google analytics which shows the traffic of visitors around this web site (for example pages accessed and documents downloaded)
• the type of web browser and operating system used by you on visiting my website.

This information is used to monitor usage of the website including the frequency of use of individual pages.

No attempt is made to identify individual users or to associate the technical details listed above with any individual. The website usage data are used to improve and develop the website.

Please note that your email address will be recorded if you email me, but will not be passed on to any third party unless you agree to or request such an action.

Glossary of technical terms used
